The “Recipes Using Candy” contest is an online recipe contest sponsored by Candy Crate that gives participants the opportunity to showcase their creative cooking abilities and a chance to win a basket full of goodies for their efforts. The five categories will be appetizers, breakfasts, dinners, snacks, and desserts. The one finalist will be chosen from each category. The Grand Prize winner will be chosen on best use of a Candy Crate candy item, appearance, creativity, ease of preparation, and taste.
Candy Crate specializes in retro candies like Dots, buttons, Razzles, Bazooka, Big League Chew, Bottlecaps, Candy Crystals, and Zots. The site allows customers to create gift baskets using a number of different candies available from the 1900′s through the late 1990′s.
